Here is a low cost light weight landing camera for the VTOL tilt rotor.

Would work on regular airplanes as well if it were pointed
at the mains.

I have an RV backup camera mounted by the tailwheel of my Spitfire. I'll be
able to see down the runway without the "s's" and be able to see my landing
gear

Good thing you canceled your trip to Copper State Bob.
Sky Harbor airport has the worst car rental facilities in the world.
Took me an hour waiting in line for an Avis rental car.
3 hours on the LAX end, one hour flight time and and hour waiting for a
rental
car at PHX I could almost have driven in less time.

You need to fire up the old Cessna Paul! That is if you could see
through the smoke.
How close did the fires get to Santa Paula?

If we ever loose our UAL flying privileges I probably will.

$3.50 to $4.00 bucks a gallon and 13 mpg is no fun. $160 for fuel each way.

If one could fly at 300 MPH in a tilt rotor and burn 15 gallons an hour
that would be only 25 gallons or $100 each way :) 20 MPG.
