Why do you think I might need a mechanical pump ?? I have two Parker
rotary pumps and the pressure seemed pretty steady on the gage.  Karibian

You can try it like you have it but after thinking about it
for a couple of months I think you are going to need fuel volume
as a function of RPM. Here is something I worked up.

You can have low RPM wide open throttle, high RPM WOT, low RPM part throttle
and high RPM part throttle. All four conditions will require a different
amount of fuel delivered.

If it runs under all those conditions you are home free as you can always
lean it by changing the fuel pressure. For takeoff you can set max static
RPM and mixture with fuel pressure alone.

If not you might need a mechanical engine driven pump that delivers fuel
according to RPM *** AND *** throttle opening.
