   It is not completely potted; only a black coating!
   We can see the component, but rather difficult to identify.
   Sorry, what is the meaning of MSD: Magnetic Solenoïd  Device, or else?
   I don't know if the trigger is working, since the main box don't
   work!, and We have not dismounted all the system from the aircraft;
   just the 2 box.
   As far as you know, is it possible to get the schematic drawing.
   If it is not possible to repair, have you any advice for replacement
   devices? with the same trigger and trigger plate if possible

   I don't know where to get a schematic unless Diamond can send you one.
   If you can't get a schematic I don't think you will be successful
   in fixing it. Obviously one or more semi-conductors have failed
   someplace.

   Send me some good pictures of the trigger wheel and trigger plate
   and I will be able to tell if it is possible to use it with
   the MSD.

I'll try to make photos, next week.
What kind of steel is the fly wheel: magnétic or non magnetic?
I will ask  Midwest; unfortunatly no more reference appear on the box.

I suspect the flywheel is magnetic steel. Try a magnet on it.
