Happy New Year George and Paul... et al!!

This email has a ton of apples and oranges mixed together in the pics!!

The first pic is the advertisement for Bill Ortmeyer's training stuff.  I
haven't been conversing with Bill Ortmeyer for a few years... but he's
such an anal retentive teacher that keeps meticulous books...  It wouldn't
suprise me at all if he's got the 2400 hours on his ship... Bill's
original ship was built by Bill Parsons... Bill O isn't an intuitive wankle rotor
head in his heart... he's one to buy someone else's time/ expertise to
diagnose and fix his engine instead of intuitively knowing what is/was
happening.  I have NO idea of the source of Bill Parson's rotarys.  Even
Bill Ortmeyer didn't know who sourced his engine when Bill Parsons
purchased it!!

The second and third pic is of Steve McGowan of Georgia in his "Black
Beauty".  He's been running 13b's from Atkins since I was introduced to
him in '96.  Steve easily has over 3000 hours on his beast!

The fourth pic is of MY proof flight with Russ (somebody) in Wauchula
florida... no one believed I had the horsepower to get 700 lbs useful load
into the air!!  The ship was the first 12a I owned... built by Bill
Parsons himself!!  Steve McGowan's Black Beauty was a twin to this ship!

The fifth and sixth pics are of my own "Testosterone Baby" Aircommand
tandem I built... It was a significantly bridgeported 12a dyno'd at 219 hp at
7500 rpm.  My oh my!!!  That bird could chase down the local helicopters!!!
 We'd run the creeks and valleys with a few friends in their bells and Hughes
ships.... and I'd always be able to loose them, or catch them in a
heartbeat!!!  That was WAY too much fun!!
