Wow that's cool. Similar to what we are trying to do with the VTOL.
So simple. I wonder if it auto rotates?

I doubt it very much.  There isn't a lot of energy in those blades.
Notice that he never got transitional, either.  When he moved one way or
another, he lost a lot of lift.

A little more blade (add a foot to each) and some weight in the ends
would probably make a world of difference.
