Yes I am having problems with it. I bought Ulead VideoStudio 11 and
converted
the TV captured video to a wmv. For some strange reason Firefox does not
recognize
it as a wmv. It works fine in Ulead and Windows Media Player. I copied it to
a USB
flash drive and moved it to the Linux machine. I then uploaded it to the web
site
and the funny stuff started when I tried to access it with Firefox.
As far as I can tell Ulead can not import a TV video file off the hard disk.
It must import it from  the Samsung DVD that captured the file from the TV.
Apparently this video stuff has a ways to go before it is rock solid.
It would help if the Samsung DVD recorder put out wmv directly.

I am redoing it once again.

The first one Andy did is working fine. I don't know what program Andy used
to convert if from the TV video format to wmv. He was obviously able to load
the TV format off of his hard disk directly.

I hope to come up with a set of programs to do this whole thing reliably.

 I used Pinnacle Studio Plus 11 to import the DVD files and format the WMV.
It also gave me an AVI as part of the process...all 53 megs of it.  Other
options include DivX; MPEG-1, -2, and -4; and Real Media.
