I placed the order to Jerry for the RV7A mount:

Planning to go with James cowling and the RD-1C from Tracy.
Would like to fit the radiator underneath the engine as per your book.
The engine I have is a 13b 1986 N/A 6 ports.

Hi Jp.

The 7A is somewhat of a problem for a lower mount rad as the nose
gear reduces the room under the engine available.

Would you consider a side mount
rad? Here are some 3D's. Another advantage is you can use the stock
cowl.

Understand, should have thought of it.
Looking at the drawing it seems the engine is mounted in the center still
with the rad on the side.
Is this the case? If it is, it would also give me the option of installing
the radiator
underneath the airplane on the outside attached to the belly.
I would like to keep this option open in case it gets too crowded inside the
cowling.
At some point under the belly was my first choice, I may prefer it to side
installation.
But having both options (side and under the belly)  would be certainly
better.

The asymmetric mount does not preclude mounting the rad under the engine.
