There is another advantage I did not mention before. The larger the
dia. of the prop the better the low speed thrust. Helps getting an STOL off in
a short distance and climb out at low speeds. Rotaries are great for
STOL as they have a lot more power for the same weight. With enough
power and a much bigger prop you have a helicopter :)
It will be done with the mount in a couple of days. Jerry and I are still working
on the Lancair mount.
