Hi Steve Beckham,
You and Everette were pioneers in p-port rotary engines for aircraft.
While you were gone we came up with a new simple way to make
P-ports. We tig weld 2 inch OD .049 wall SS tubes to the rotor housing
wear liner. Worked like a charm. Much easier and better than I expected.
We built an RX8 version and ran it on the dyno.
264 HP at 7500 RPM we think. The dyno could have been off so
it would be great if you could confirm this on your dyno.
We sealed the rest of the water jacket with JB Weld and attached
the runners with hose and hose clamps.
