Larry, what's the mat'l your using there? Is that REN board?

Not really sure what the plastic is... but it was free, so the price was
right. It is not delrin, but feels more like abs or polypropylene blend.Anyway it's weird stuff with green speckles in it. Seems very tough, so it
should hold up to the casting process well.

Possibly recycled UHMW? It can come in a dark muddy or yellow color..

So is that the full pattern? Is the interior pocketed out and used as
the mating pattern for the part? [Instead of two patterns?]

Jarrett,
The material was still a mystery... so we did the specific gravity test. It
floats in water, so is most likely recycled UHMW. Unusual color for this,
but almost no other plastic has this density.

That is a 2 piece pattern, you can see part of the outside pattern in the
photo of the inside.
Great work Larry, I hope you and Bill get together on some projects.
