I know this may be a bit late but I found some links to libraries of
photographs for various engine mounts for the CH-801. In many of them you
can clearly see the top center firewall attach.

  I am in mid stream of building a 601 XL and have to agree the the
Zenith aircraft are very easy to build, I hope to be flying my 601 by
early summer.

 Going to base it up in the San Juan islands and fly up and back in
the 601 which is much faster and more efficient, I have a motor home
and a boat based up in the islands and spend most of the summer up
there.

I like it up there. Maybe I'll come up this summer and go
for another ride. I have to do some work on a house on Vashon.
