paul,

here is a copy of the patent, very interesting. it
also  discusses the possibility of using the alloy
with ceramic additives in a metal matrix composite.

According to my pdf reader that is not a pdf
My pdf reader thinks it is plain text. Also the size is 185
bytes which also indicates it is not a pdf.

Try reading it with yours.

BTW how long have you lived in Midland?

Paul Lamar

sorry about that paul, for some reason yahoo won't let me send a PDF through their website. i set up thunderbird so hopefully you'll get this.

i was born in midland, lived here except for a few years in the army in korea and ft. campbell ky.

hope this gets through.

That one did the trick. Thanks for the patent. More info on that stuff.
Looking good for rotors.

Dear Paul,

Not a regular subscriber but this doc opens fine with Acrobat Reader 8,
which is available on every OS from Win2000 forward IF YOU HAVE
ALL SERVICE PACKS IN PLACE; if you don't have at least Win2K
God help you!

Regards,
Jeff

Paul--at first glance this stuff would also appear to be an excellent
candidate for aluminum side housings?  Suggestions on how do we find out who
has used this for what products and related mfg and service history?

Steve Beckham

I am working on it :)
