Paul, the seals are a lot better than ok and please don't confuse NRS with
JHB. I do not do the cermet housings. What Lynn is referring to is an actual
re-chromed rotor housing as in the attached.

I am not confusing anything. Of course coatings or plating's can look good
when brand new.
This first picture is obviously a picture of a brand new coating or plating.
If a coating or plating comes off in a car engine no big deal. Pull over the
side of
the road and stop. If a coating or plating comes off while over the
mountains in
an airplane you are in a world of hurt.

It is dumb to risk your life to save $50 bucks on a new rotor housing by
buying a refurbished used housing.  I am not the only person with
that opinion. Jim  Wall of Hendricks Racing speaking of coatings says:
"Unless we find there is real performance we will resists changes".
Coatings and platting's are getting a bad reputation.

The same thing can be said about after market apex seals.
We know stock apex seals have millions if not billions of hours
of use. Mazda spent millions on developing them and lots of money
making them.

You must be confused as you couldn't possibly have pictures of the housings
we re-chromed to new condition as there have only been 2 done and they still
are in a working engine for 2 years.

If our goal was to save someone $50 on a housing do you really think we
would even bother.
Anyway you are right about one thing; we'll let the racers test them.

Yes I am confused about one thing. Who are you? Are you NRS or JHB or both?

If you are NRS (from your email address) are you coating or re-plating housings?
Are you also making and selling ceramic apex seals?

What about the housing I saw in the JHB booth at Seven Stock Last year?
Supposedly it had only 60Km or some such and the plating or coating was coming off.
Was it plated or was it coated? Unfortunately I did not get a movie of the conversation :)

If you are NRS you have a problem. I would distance myself from JHB.
Perhaps change your company name.
