I did not extend the cowling because there is no more space up front,
extending it, it would overhang over the canopy which then could not be
opened.

I do have a limited amount of CFD ability w/ SolidWorks. If you've got
a model, I'd be glad to mess w/ it and see if I can get any answers for
you..
