Billet rotors

Hello, My name is Edgar Perez and am the owner of E&J Performance. The

reason for this email is because of what i heard at the end of this video. We have created a billet rotor. Our rotor is at a current weight of 7.1 pounds and soon to be at 5.75 pounds. We have 14 pull on

a dyno and getting some good horse power. After 10 pull on the dyno we

took the motor apart and found every thing in perfect conditions. We were able to do one pass one the track but the conditions werent to good. The car will be going back to the track on wed. Some of the videos are here

Yes, we are using the RX8 counter and rebalancing them.

Are these Billet rotors solids or do they have some oil cooling pockets?

Does not look like it.
What about rotor cooling Edgar?

At this time we are running methanol and found no need to put in the oil
pockets. When we move to gasoline it might be necessary. The iron rotors
oil cooling is a must because it is iron.

If you cut some more weight out of that rotor Edgar you can run the engine faster and get even more power. The RPM of the engine is limited by the weight
of the rotor.
