   The video that lasts one second and a half was copied from the Gruman
   Northrop website where it inadvertently was put and put in a loop during
   his explanation.

   It shows a cloud emitting a yellowish light above the plane. Below the
   plane it clearly does not emit light.

   Jean-Pierre Petit concludes it is an electrical shortcut of the MHD
   system in the humidity of the cloud that formed when flying in
   transsonic mode through humid air.
   The shortcut happens because of the electric conductivity of the air.
   This proves that the B2 has a highly sophisiticated propulsion system.

   Jean-Pierre Petit wonders why no journalist jumped onto this story when
   it got out.

   Jean-Pierre Petit wrote a very interesting book called "OVNIS et armes
   secrètes américaines" ISBN 2-253-11494-4 in which you can read how some
   planes can fly at Mach 10 with normal gas turbines.

   I don't think so. I think the B2 is subsonic anyway.
   Probably water vapor due to a sudden drop in pressure.

Short circuit through water vapor?  Gosh, those Americans should have
thought of that.  Must be wasting a whole lot of energy.

It looks to me as though there is a nuclear fusion reaction somewhere
that is shining visible radiation on the upper cloud while the aircraft
is cleverly shielding the lower cloud from the radiation.

Joking aside, it does appear to be a transonic cloud rather than a
regular low pressure vap. - which would appear only on the upper surface
and would be more streamlined.  Could be they tried to make the B2
supersonic and that is one of the test flights, or the video is edited.

'Normal' gas turbine engine??  As opposed to what, magical?  The big
differences for supersonic flight (besides required power) are with the
engine inlets and controlling supersonic compression areas around the
turbine compressor blades and aircraft control surfaces.  Who knows,
maybe there was a test B2 that had afterburners.
