I just found this shot of what I think is a Nemesis NXT.
I think this aircraft was designed for speed and more speed.
Can anyone comment on the design and is there other photo's of cowl flaps
etc. I thought the exit air would be pointed back rather than down!!??

They rarely use cowl flaps on racing planes as they take off and climb out
at a shallow angle and at less then full power. Here are some more shots from my collection. Since there is so  much stuff crammed in the cowl the cooling
drag is probably higher than it need be.
