This is an interesting idea. I wonder what the losses are
for the hydraulic pump and swash plate hydraulic motor?
I assume the hydraulic motor is variable speed which would allow
a lot of flexibility between the power of the turbine
and the speed of the engine.

For some strange reason no mention of it is made on their website.
