Interesting page,  Where can I get more information on using rotary
engines in aircraft and cars.  I am building a lotus 7 replica that I
want to have 500 reliable hp out of.  Also I am building an aircraft
that I want to create as a ducted fan aircraft.  This takes lots of HP.

400 HP normally aspirated is no problem for a 3 rotor at 10,000 RPM.

400 HP turbo charged is no problem for a 2 rotor but everything
must be right as it is more sensitive to mixture and boost.

Ducted fans are horribly inefficient in the 100 to 200 MPH speed range.
My guess on top speed with 400 HP would be well under 200 MPH.
Of course there would be lots of fuel burn on the order of 200 pounds
per hour or 32 gallons an hour. Those that have tried have gone back to
props.
