Factory new 2004 Mazda 13B (RX8?) forth generation Renesis crate engine
completely modified for aviation by Bruce Turrentine.
4-port intake, 3-port exhaust.
10:1 new, ceramic coated, eye brow ported, high compression rotors
Has the required RWS PSRU flexplate
New Vicon seals
Blocked oil ports
Black and yellow powder coated
Wt. as shown 176 lbs.
225 hp @ 7500 rpm (+/- depending on intake, exhaust design)

Slightly used Mazda 13B -  -  - $2500

2005 Mazda RX-8 4-port Renesis engine used for emissions testing only,
never installed in a car. Does not have an exhaust
manifold otherwise it is a complete engine. Both of these engines
are in excellent shape. Roll over nicely and with very good compression.

rotors?  Is it because some have debonded in the past?

Yes and when it comes off your expensive  rotor housings are history.
Also there are no measurable benefits. Its all hype IMHO.
There is no effective method of quality control.
