I think I have it somewhere.I'll address it if it comes up.
Thanks for the detour.By the way, we just flew our new plane, it's
not the fast one we started a decade ago (wow how time flies), but
this allowed us to spend time with the kids. We'll start on the fast
one again in a year or so.Pix for your enjoyment:

By the way, someone asked a wingtip question a few days ago.The
sheared wingtips, that is, wingtips that reduce chordwise in size but
still maintain the actual airfoil shape are all the rage these days.
That's what we did on this design. It has a Riblett airfoil and we
can't seem to get a real stall out of it.I can mush along nose high
power on at 26 indicated, not losing altitude, all day long. The
motor is Continental A-65.We would have used a single rotor if one
had been readily available.

Congratulations Chris. A real cutie.

Chris,
With your skills you could have made one up - still not to late, we
need
people working on the single. You could put a nice little turbo on
it and
get 150 hp on a single turboed PP.

twas I, on the wing tips...

I must say, that I am also working off of a Riblett airfoil that has
a great mush...and no break in a stall.I would ask for a better
explanation of what you call "sheared" wing tips.Have been working
between a hoerner style and stewart style.But I don't know if I
would call either "sheared"but perhaps we are talking about the
same style.
