I don't mean to make it sound as if I'm shopping for parts, just an interest in the final cost of such a project, some info before I decide to get my feet wet if you will. I have a strong feeling toward only using new or quality rebuilt parts on air planes, perhaps it's just me, but I feel much better when I know the history and condition of the part(s) I'm using. If it were a car, motorcycle, or boat, junkyard parts would be my 1st consideration (for non critical parts,) however, increasing the chances of a failure in the air by using junkyard parts in my opinion is not worth it, but I digress. Back to the subject at hand, has anyone a rough estimate as to what it would cost, or what extra ordinary parts are involved in such a task. Much thanks for anyone who can help me out.
