Hi Paul

That schematic I sent you had a huge error.

I only noticed it when I tried your suggestion.

The scope shows both traces on one screen "red" for the what I labeled
"trigger conditioned" and "blue" for the "injector" so all I had done was
copied the same screen either side of the schematic with a different label.

So really all the injector got was a flat zero volts.

Call me dumb or what.  Anyway I learnt a bit more so not all bad.

I still could do with some help what is the 1N2004?????????????????
I have tried web searches and all I come up with that it's obsolete,
Digikey that I thing you said you use comes back "No records match your
search criteria" so what am I missing?????

It is a 1 amp diode. Could very well be obsolete as I have a couple
hundred lying around :) Convert those pdf's to jpgs. The pdfs are too big
to send. One way is use the screen capture trick. Paste into MS Paint
and save as jpg.
