I think you may need a primer to get the engine started
as I see no choke.


I also learned something at Sun n Fun about leaning
carburetors from Steve Bennett of Great Plains Aircraft.

The trick is a simple air bleed valve where
you bleed fresh air into the intake manifold below
the carb. Not as good as the Holley leaning kit
from Tom McNeilly tomcn@earthlink.net but it will work
with just about any carb and it could be real cheap.

Just get your self a needle valve from the hardware
store.
