Paul Lamar and I have been having a discussion offline. He
feels that he is
doing more good for the rotary aviation community by continuing
with this
discussion board and website than by actually finishing his
plane.I agree
completely.
I also feel that for himself, he should quit with the newsletter
for a while
and concentrate on his plane. There is nothing quite like
the personal
satisfaction you get from flying the plane you built
yourself.The archives
alone should keep any new-be busy long enough for Paul to finish
is plane
and join a very select few.
So what say you all?Can we do without Paul long enough
for him to finish
his plane? If so, lend some encouragement.

Hi David,
I agree.Paul could use some time off from this almost 24/7 newsletter,
for 11 years.Refresh himself with new ideas and create his own plane.
With HIS own rotary powered A/C he would lead by exemple.A very good
point.

Sounds like a good idea...but if he's like me, he'll want to let
everyone know every step he's taking! We may not find the newsletter
very quiet for very long!
At any rate...Paul...take some time off...finish your plane...come up
with some new ideas.
If we need you, we know how to get in touch with you!
Harley Dixon
You mean you don't have enough new ideas already? :)
