Phase I testing

I think he used this one. We got out to the Bindoon airport WA late afternoon
so no time to take the cowl off this year and get some pictures. The down pipe was very small.
On the order of 1.5 to 1.75 inches. Its an RX8 side exhaust port engine so it is much
quieter to begin with. As I recall he may have taken this one out for heat reasons and
used the stock RX 8 exhaust manifold with a small external muffler. I don't
really know but I'll send him a copy of this email and perhaps he will fill us
in with some pictures. There was a lot of partying going on  so I was not as
focused as usual :)

However the engine is extremely quiet by any aircraft standards. One can
almost not hear the engine at all and only prop noise comes through. Power
of the engine is modest as it was not jumping off the ground.
