Paul Lamar and I have been having a discussion offline.  He feels that he
   is
   doing more good for the rotary aviation community by continuing with this
   discussion board and website than by actually finishing his plane.  I
  agree
   completely.

   I also feel that for himself, he should quit with the newsletter for a
   while
   and concentrate on his plane.  There is nothing quite like the personal
   satisfaction you get from flying the plane you built yourself.  The
   archives
   alone should keep any new-be busy long enough for Paul to finish is plane
   and join a very select few.

   So what say you all?  Can we do without Paul long enough for him to finish
   his plane? If so, lend some encouragement.

  lets face it paul is old and set in his ways so the only reasonable thing
  to
  do is have an old fashion barn raising to help him out what could be better
  than having a bunch of folks you helped out over the years show up at your
  door step to give a mighty big helping hand.


  Ha,  knew that would be the ticket and now that Paul likes the idea of
  having help we have to get together for a Paul fest . a yearly get together
  until Paul's project is done.

Where do you live?  Having "participated" in your website for about the last
year or so it is quite obvious that you are a fastidious perfectionist.  If
a bunch of folk showed up on your doorstep, for a barn raising, could you
handle the stress?  Do you have projects that would help launch you on your
way to working on your plane?

Paul,
Do finish your brain child.  As for myself, I know that the hands on
involvement is therapy and I look to finish the prototype vehicle in
the not too distant future.  Just happy to be alive and living in
America (even tho many politicians are short sighted).
