With the 555 EFI we will have 4 injectors.  Will we run on 2 and use the
other 2 for back up? Turn off the two injectors by swiching off the gate
signal to the FET?  I think this is called staging,  Then there is the
matter of sizing the injectors if all 4 are used all of the time vs 2
with 2 backup.  Thanks for any help.

The way it is set up now all four run together.
If one fails the power is down 25%.

You can richen the mixture manually on only one rotor so perhaps there is only
15% to 20% loss of power.


There are lots of possible back up schemes. If it is an injector driver
board you may be able to swap that out in the air as they are plug in modular.
