Some one could take the wings off, and trailer it to any location.  This
will also make it easier to paint them. Fix up the interior, replace the
windshield and side curtains. Personally I  have had it with A&Ps.  Not
all but enough of them have caused me as much harm as help with this
plane.  And the real insult is I had to pay them $80/hour for it.

According to my brother the engine (300 hours since total overhaul) is
worth at least $8,000.  I have about $24,000 invested in this bird in a
whole list of items down to the new tires and battery purchased six
months ago. I had figured to throw another $12,000 grand into it to
cherry it out but it finally dawned on me that in my situation it is
stupid to keep going down this path.  I think Tom Webber has probably
put more hours on the plane over the last four years than  I have:)

Lincoln is about 25 miles north of Sacramento.   I flew up there to take
part in a  young eagles but had to sit the event out with starter
troubles.  Sale is 'as is- where is'  Engine ran fine when I arrived
there six months ago.  I am told it now runs very rough.   I suspect a
sunk float based on the amount water I  found in the carb when I had
first took off in October after the last annual.

Cheap way to get your pilot's license.
Hire an instructor and sell the airplane after you get your license.
Put it on lease back in the meantime.
