Guys--regarding Tom's inquiry about availability in Oregon of
auto fuel without ethanol the site below has a list.


In a related development, HB 3177A is today in a Oregon Senate
subcommitte and if passed and signed into law, it will allow
unblended premium throughout the state.


The site below at the Oregon Dept. of Aviation shows current
locations where unblended ethanol mogas is sold for vehicles
currently exempt from Oregon's current law mandating ethanol for
cars.  As Perry noted, it includes the Lebanon airport.
Although we had hoped to have ethanol free gas at nearby Mulino
airport provided by the same guy who runs the FBO at Lebanon, it
now appears unlikely due to insufficient market/profit for it
there at the Mulino FBO.  If  HB 3177A is passed it will help a
lot.

Thanks for your work on this Steve. We really do need to get
this fuel available at more airports, and in other states too.
I looked at that spreadsheet and saw that Wilco sold ethanol-free
gas in 5 gal pre-packaged containers. Just went by the store,
it's $8/gal so that's not feasible except for lawnmowers. I
know they sold it at MMV last summer but didn't want to
advertize that fact because it creates a conflict with
their avgas supplier. How do we resolve issues like that?

I looked up HB 3177A and found a few articles.  One that I thought had
some amusing text:

I think he is right. There will be a lot more vintage cars on the road
from now on :) Wait till GM starts making cars that nobody will want
to buy :)
