You guys are going to think I am crazy but this can of worms was
the only way I could come up with a tuned manifold
for a Holley carb and get it under the BD4 cowl.
A fuel injection system might allow one to go up and over
the top providing you have at least 2 inches over
the top of the engine. This is for people that don't
want to take apart their RX8 engines to install the
much simpler p-port. Locating the equal length runners forward
is near impossible with four pipes.
This uses all standard 2 and 2.5 inch center line radius tubing
bends. The main runners are 1.5 inch in diameter and the water
plumbing is 1.25 inch in diameter with a 2 inch center line radius.
The RX8 water pump is a problem area when it comes to tuned intake
manifolds.
A six port high power RX8 engine would be much more of a nightmare.

Dear Paul:
That intake is way cool.
Reminds me of the Ford quad cam Indy V8 "bundle of snakes" exhaust!
