Just curious. Would a turbo-compounding turbine for a rotary engine
look like the drawing on the website, i.e., as large in diameter as
the engine itself, or would it look more like the turbine from the
R-3350?

By the way, my father chuckled when I showed him the image of the
turbo-compounded Allison. He told me that Bell was looking to a 5
bladed prop to harness all that power. Too bad the XP-63H was never
built.

A R3350 turbine might work as is. It is about the right diameter.

Paul,

Do you know who makes the external pump Paul is using to oil his
supercharger?  That could be a  good PTO location for a  for numerous
applications.   Dedicated PSRU oiling system, Prop governor, dry sump
pump etc.
