    Vista and Windows Mail, and xp and Outlook Express...

   Define trouble...

   But, no, not really.  Both xp and Vista work pretty well --
I believe, though, that Vista requires a not inconsequential
increase in hardware power to run it effectively.
   a.. I have xp running on a DELL laptop with an Intel
P-IV chip with 348 MB RAM, and
   b.. I have Vista running on a DELL desktop with an Intel
920i processor with 6 GB RAM
   I've had more headaches with the mail programs and the
hardware (especially the hardware) than the O/S, per se...
The disk drives have given me problems more than anything...
