How many people on here are using Vista?

stable than Vista.  Quite happy with it.

In my opinion, and from my experience, I believe that Vista is
more stable than xp.

    I often have dozens of IE windows open, plus Windows Mail
and hibernate off-and-on during the day, then hibernate
overnight.  The computer has no issues with that regime.  When I
tried this with xp (on a different computer), I had problems.
The problems may have had more to do with the computer hardware
than the S/W, but I can't prove that.

    As for power required to run Vista: Most guys are attempting
to run it on hardware that doesn't have the "punch" to run it.
But, shame on MicroSoft for delivering a product that makes such
demands on the hardware.  Looking back, though, the hardware
available today is a quantum leap ahead of what we had in the
80's, when we we were running Windows 3.1...!  Evolution, man.
