You don't need to build anything to use it.  You need to connect your
PC RS-232 interface to the signal in and out pins on the EC2, plus the
+5V pin ground pin.  Steve makes the connections with a triple
connector that he plugs in between the EC2 and the Cable.  It would be
fairly easy to add the wires needed right in the EC2 cable.  It would
conflict with use of the EM2.

You do need to buy a converter to change the 5V ASCII signals to
RS-232 levels.  I also found a converter that accepts 5V signals and
converts it to directly to an RS-232 port by plugging into a USB port.

The program is a compiled NSBASIC program that runs as an exe under
Windows.  I haven't used it yet since my EC2 isn't operational, but the
program seems to run fine.

Are you still making wiring harnesses for Tracy's
early computers. If so I want to order one. I am going to get
it up an running on the RX8 p-port engine on my prop dyno.
I think I have an EC1 built in about 1998. It may be an EC2.
It has a 39 pin D connector on the top.

The jpg schematic was for an EC2.  Is that from the original
instruction manual?  I need to know how long each of the cable runs
needs to be.  Fill out the form at:

on through, and I will quote you a price.  Or just go through the
selection list and tell me what you need for each selection.

Send a copy of the schematic from the original manual if the other one
isn't it.   Based on the schematic you attached, it's set up for RX-7
Coils.  To use something else, you will have to get Tracy to upgrade it.

I'll get it from the hangar and see what it is.
The invoice from Tracy called it a EFI 13B NT 9/4/2000.
I have both a set of EC1 and  EC2 instructions.

I have the RX7 coils. As I recall I need to change
the ballast resistors. I am going to use it as a base line
for comparison to the 555 system.
