  That Corvete drivetrain looks like a nightmare.  The Hy-vo
  chain looks the same as done starting with the '66 Toranado, but the
  rest...  uugh!

 Paul the first computer I ever owned I built in 94. It had 11 drives off a
 SCSI expansion card and 2ns ram whigh was terribly unreliable, It had two
 power supplies and failed them every year. I still have "frankenstein" but
 he
 is retired. Currently I use western digital hard drives a lot of sony stuff
 for the other devices and asus or jet main boards with 3.2 or 3.8Ghz
 processors and either 2 or four gegs of ram.The failure point is the ram.
 If
 it boots up strange I swap the ram around to se if it runs differently. The
 unreleased Nemesis is better than vista but vista is now developed past XP.

 I will be using Linux Ubutu with a real time kernel for the free EMC-2  cam
 software for the milling machine. I am installing dual ballscrews adjusted
 out of phase to minamize backlash  in 1" and 11/4 " diameters with .25
 lead.

 I got  the list of components from Chrissy Cozy Girl an just went shopping.
 Still waiting  for one part to show up on  e-bay. I don't want too many
 projects in too many directions so that is on hold till I get the rotary
 core engine  done. I need the weight number for wing position on the
 airframe which is drawn enough for me to build. I did an aerobatic  twin
 engine PSRU with constat speed prop. It uses spherical roller bearings
 tsubaki hyvo chain and dual ring fetters in the sprockets.Thrust capacity
 on
 these bearings is a percentage of radial load ut they were the only thing I
 could locate that was operating within rated RPM limits in the shaft
 diameters I was useing.

 It  proved to be too heavy (80 pounds). the tandem
 engines was clearly the way to go. I am currently interested in a carbon
 fibre prop made to order by Sencenitch in florida. I would have to build
 the
 hub for five blades, but I have a 12 diameter spinner for the prop and
 don't
 find the hub much of a challenge except that I want the  hyd pump in the
 hub
 driven by the spinner as used on aerobatic planes such as Zlin for single

 Paul, I tried the new file extension in rhino and it works here. What I
mailed you last week only diplayed lines and text and to find it I had to
really zoom as it was a speck on the paper. My previous test was 2D drawings
which did open. I  just assumed the 3D solids worked so i appologize for
that attempt. The file size now reads small enough to send by e mail , good
luck with render.

Looks like you are getting there George.
Send one 3ds file at a time but with a higher mesh.
