Now I think a 109 lb rotary would be perfect for this. Very impressive.

A great job of engineering but 10 GPH for a 200 HP 2 stroke
is BS.  a 2 stroke is lucky to see a BSFC of
.65 pounds of fuel per HP hour. That means 130 pounds
of fuel per hour or 21 gallons an hour GPH.

5 gallons of fuel would weigh 31 pounds giving an endurance
of 15 minutes. Range at 63 MPH would therefore be 16 miles.

The engine was probably an OMC or Mercury outboard motor.
Although an air cooled version would make more sense.
Flying out side in a cloud of dust would make it un
flyable :)

That will make it a good James Bond movie prop :)

An ultralight helicopter makes more sense.

Paul,
The fuel injected 2 cycle road racers were getting much
better economy near the end. High to mid 5,s bsfc. Nowhere
near the economy of a 4 stroke but unreal power to weight
ratios. The 500's were making 180-200 hp and the ENTIRE BIKE
weighed 289 pounds.

I agree 2 strokes have good power to weight ratios.
Even .6 BSFC is a far cry from 10 GPH at 200 HP.

Actually what the specs verify here is the poor efficiency
of ducted fans compared to a decent diameter rotor blade.
Just like sail planes high aspect ratio pays off.
