Speaking of CAD programs, I'm taking some courses at the community
college and one of them is on ProE.  They make it sound like the wave
of the future.  Can anyone verify this before I spend a lot of time
committing it to memory.

Pro E was good but it never became a standard like Solid Works or Rhino.
Rhino is a lot easier to learn with a much more friendly user interface.
