I opened up the files and see the entire rendering of the engine
package...I need the part separated out..When you sent the STL. it
worked fine. X_T works better it's a  native parasolid kernel. SW likes
this..

What is X_T ?
What is a "native parasolid kernel" ?

These stp files import directly into SW.
If you have trouble Jarrett does it from time
to time and makes SW adjustments from time to time
depending on how good a job I do with Rhino V3. What
Rhino V3 does not do worth a damn is fillets on variable
radii.

This parsolid kernel is the root processing engine for SW and other
solid modeling  programs..This X-T is a conversion format that uses the
same kernel (native) so the conversion  tend to be much smaller in size
with less imperfections.. IGES, STL, STP, etc don't use this  and the
files can come in very large and with flaws that later need to be healed
or rebuilt..
I have tried Rhino and find it confusing.........I guess it  is all what
you start with......

If you have IGES, this is the industry standard for conversions in the
world, if you have that option try it. It will be very large, but it
works....The STL you sent before came through as well......
BTW tell me what it is you want to make,  though the plate was it, I
have the material (6061) for that here, with good geometry, this could
be done by tomorrow or maybe the next day....
