Prop shaft mounting drawings.

Jean, I was looking at your propshaft post. Not telling you your business as
we say around here but....... I think you need some sort of cavity around
the sleeve bearing area full of air to prevent the oil seals being exposed
to the pressure of the lubricating oil as it travels to the scavange
location.
AlsoI think you need to sketch in a pusher spinner to find out how
much diameter you have to work with. It is likely that the tapered joint you
have between the outer sleeve and prop shaft housing could be untapered and
easier to fabricate. I get the idea of the split housing necessitated by the
sleeve bearing and can see that a small hole in the prop flange would allow
assembly of the front oil seal carrier, however the inboard oil seal
carrier also locates the thrust bearings and passes the prop thrust load
to the airframe. It looks like there is no way to assemble these fasteners
inside the outer tubin.
At this point I. would suggest an external flange on
the bearing carrier casting and a mating flange on the outer tube. the
whole propshaft carrier and seal set would be assembled and then bolted to
the tubin flange. The od of the carbon fiber or kevlar reinforcing wraps on
the drive tube needs to be slightly smaller than the outside diameter of the
thrust bearing/oil seal to prevent machining off the external resin and
cutting the fibers with the machining.
You might want to contact the people
who build filament wound carbon tubing about the dept of contact versus
tubing ID to see if something like 1-1/2 times the tubing ID for the length
of contast. Also see what they think about the shown grooving of the contact
area with the tube ID. It seems to reduce the contact area with the steel
shaft, substituting resin strips thick enough for the relatively poor shear
strength of the unreinforced resin to affect power transmission to the
shaft.
Just a thought about the prop pitch oil line that you seem intent on
using. You might bond about three rubber bushings inside the drive tube to
center the oil line and reduce resonat vibrations of the tubin.

Geooge i forget to mention to you regarding the front prop shaft seal can
be extended by removing the inside spring and pass over the large
diameter the same way we install this seal on lycoming crankshaft
