I'll send this for your review tomorrow...................

This is a beauty Jeff. These will add greatly to the professional look
of the Mazda powered airplanes. Thanks again for doing these. These
 will sell
for years.  Tracy should adopt them as stock with his gear box.

Good luck :)

Perhaps a better idea is start building a lighter weight cheaper gear
box. Here are some ideas to kick around. We also need a constant speed
prop capable gear box. The governor can be cog belt driven so that makes
it much simpler.

Actually what is needed are two designs. One for wood props and one for
constant speed props. The prop flanges are different sizes.

I suggest just copy the Lycoming engine front end
for the constant speed version to get the high pressure oil to the prop.
Here are some 3D's on that. Shaft journal bearing shell and shaft seal
can be stock Lycoming parts.

Used constant speed props are 1/3 the cost
of a new electric constant speed prop and they are more efficient
as the tips of the blades are thinner. I have an air racer friend that went
15 MPH faster with a metal prop rather than a constant speed German electric
prop with so called composite blades. I.E. Thin layer of fiberglass over compressed
wood.

I'll send the wood prop version later.
