Hello Mrs Lamar. I dont understand one thing.  RX8 rotor is 3,9 kg. 13 REW
rotor is 4,5 kg. Why p-port engine from year 1980 would be 9 000 rpm and rx8
p-port rotaring only 7300 rpm? Q: What I have to do so that my p-port engine
RX8 rotaring 9000 rpm? Thank you very much. Michal Dibala

I don't think there is that much difference in the weight of the rotors.

The reason we don't run over 7500 RPM has to do with the gear ratio in the gear box. That gives us a max prop RPM around 2700. Nothing to do with the red line of the engine.
