Well the same thing ahppens on my computer at work. Adobe reader 8.1.0.

That says a lot about the Linux version of the free Adobe reader as it can
read so called
"corrupted" pdf files :) It has no trouble with this file or any other pdf
file for that
matter. We have had trouble with Adobe (pdf) readers for years. Some jerk
keeps changing
the format I suspect.  Maybe Microsoft or Adobe should look at this source
code to see how
they do it :)

Paul, I was searching the adobe website, and found some old info. Some users
can open the same file if it gets e-mailed to them. Just for the sake of
experimentation, could you send it to me, and let tme see if I can open it
from my inbox.

OK I'll send it by private email as it will fill most peoples boxes.
BTW I down load load it from my own web site and read it so I don't think that theory holds water.
