I went on the Modine site and could not find that pdf so I will break it
apart and send a series of jpgs.

I have a big mail box, feel free to send me the PDF direct. Thanks.

Won't do you any good. Your adobe reader will not read it.

Here it is in jpg form.

Paul,

Calculation is fine if we know all the variables, like BTU rejection, and
oil flow at T.O. rpms. and most importantly a good ducted airflow and
unrestricted outlet.

Dumping the flow into the engine cowling and letting it find its way out
will be quite different then exiting directly to the outside.

In earlier posts you recommended about 1.5 cu inches per horsepower.
Steve Beckham confirmed that was a good ball park figure.  On the other
hand Dave Leonard has, by my calculations close  to 1.1 cu. inches of
oil cooling capacity per horse power.

Do you know the oil cooler size or model number on Mark's 20B Lancair?
It is hard to tell from the picture but looks like about 12"X 15"
inches which would 360 cu. inches for 280hp?

Knowing this would give us a good ball park figure.

I think Mark stated that a few messages ago. Keep reading.

Here is some interesting stuff from Stewart Warner.

Unlike the Modine infor this has some air side data.
Let me know people if you can 't read it and I won't bother putting it on the web site.
