what year did the renesis go from 2 to 3 apex seal lube points??   (what
year model RX-8 should I be buying as my next used car??)

I think it was around 2006 or maybe 2007. It is easy to see with
the engine cover off. Just pull on it and it pops off.

If it is running well the early ones are OK if you add a bit of
2 cycle oil to the fuel. My 2004 is still running great.
