Seasons Greetings
Matt,
I was doing my annual note organizing and I came across the files on
the Nissan data. On the Excel table I have a notation the data is in
mg/sec.
On the Nissan Infinite g20 graph the bottom line represents voltage and
the numbers should read from left to right as follows. 0.1 , 0.5,
0.9,
1.3, 1.7, 2.1, 2.5, 2.9, 3.3, 4.1, 4.5, 4.9, 5.3, 5.7, 6.1. Please
correct Paul's graph as it appears the numbers are off.
Again after 4.8v the sensor doesn't have any real resolution but
those airflows are so low it doesn't matter.
Let me know if you need anything else.
Presently I have the sensor mounted down stream from the ROTREX Super
charger and will bring the feed into a simple flow bench that can match
the throttle and or the rotor housings, intercooler etc.
Cheers
Doug
Are you sure the voltages read are correct? My experience is that more
volts gives more fuel. If the airflow is greater, the engine would require
more fuel, so the voltage to the ECM should be higher. If the sensed volts
is taken across the wrong wires the scale would be backwards.

Here is how the RX8 mass air flow sensor works.
