Hi i saw your guys website (rotaryeng.net) and it seems you guys know alot about rotary engines and was wondering can you answer thes questions about my rx8

1) How often do you need to change the cooling sytem,hoses and radiator on an rx8( around every 50k maybe more or less)?

2) Would you happen to know how to make a single rx8 engine last a hundred thousand miles any tips/pointers would help?

I would save 5 to 10 years. Get the rad cleaned out as well.
Never put in plain water. Coolant only. In fact changing
that out once a year or so would not hurt.

Mix 2 cycle oil with the fuel one half ounce per gallon.
This only applies to early RX8's up to about 2006 or 2007 when
they added more oil to the apex seal lube system.

Early rotaries went 300,000 miles or more if taken care
of. I have owned six starting in 1973 with a new RX2.
