Anyone using or familiar with UMA instruments tachometers?

I was considering the 2 1/4" P/N 19-519-203 for 3 pulses per rev connected
to the negative side of the ignition coil. I'll be using LS1 coils.

Any comments or words of wisdom?

I used a UMA 19-505-202,  2 1/4in. tach on my 13b for the first 50 hours
until I installed Tracy's EM-2 and LS1 coils.

My UMA tach was wired to the tach output on the Mazda Leading coil as
I recall.  The UMA website no longer lists this tach, but I want to say it
was
for a two stroke engine, possibly rotax.
