The Alpine is running great, but I still need to do some tuning. I need
to get out on the highway and see how the EC2 self tuning will work out.
Right now the mixture runs full rich at idle, and after I get going it
goes full lean. It still feels strong and I'm using a narrow band O2
sensor so I don't know how far it going. Also I don't know if the O2
sensor is warm enough to give a good reading at idle. It's at least 36
inches from the exhaust port.

With no interior and a lot of missing rubber it's quite a rattletrap at
the moment. I hope to get it in the paint shop at the end of the
month, and get the trim and interior installed in Feb or Mar. The
other problem is the transmission is a little weak. It doesn't seem to
syncro as well as it should. And, I have to remember I have a rear end
for a 90 HP 4 banger. I've been told the rear end is strong enough if
I replace the original Woodruff keys with hardened ones.
