Do you have a source for the spring-loaded teflon buttons used on the slide
throttle?  Also, do you have a drawing for the end piece that secures the
throttle cable to the slide throttle assembly?

They don't have to be spring loaded.
A little slop will not hurt.

Craig bought some
1/4 teflon rod from McMaster and cut them on a lathe as I recall.
Drill four 3/16" dia. 3/16" deep holes in the four corners of the slide.

You have to string all this together in one long address.

The throttle cable holder is made from 1/2 inch thick Al plate.

Paul,

The web site doesn't state, what's the temp limits for SBR (styrene
butadiene rubber).  I suspect the slide throttle may get a bit warm after
shutdown.  I wouldn't want my buttons to melt.

Rubber is good to 225 F.

The slide throttle runs ice cold due to fuel evap.
Who knows under heat soak after engine shut off
but I will wager well under 200 F.

Make them out of teflon rod if you are worried. There
is little or no load on them. McMaster sells 3/16" dia.
teflon rod for 85 cents a foot.
Just cut a short piece with a razor blade and
put them in the 3/16" holes. For the two rotor
the slides are .125 under size as I recall.
